Below are some Health & Fitness questions that are frequently asked.
Can I stop/freeze my membership for a month?
For Member Agreements, you may freeze your account for one month – up to two times a year non-consecutively. You must provide written notification 10 days prior to your bank/credit card draft date. If the freeze is necessary for longer than one month, please ask about our Cancellation Policy. Membership Cancel/Freeze/Hold Request
What is your cancellation policy?
Membership Agreements are considered “at will” and you may cancel at any time with a 10 day written notice. Paid in Full Memberships are non-refundable.
If I sign up for a membership and cancel in the middle of a month will I receive a prorated refund?
All memberships are paid monthly by draft or paid in full. We do not give refunds for partial months not utilized. However, depending on the circumstances, we may add the time to the end of your membership.
How old do you have to be to join?
18 or older – unless the individual is part of an insurance-based program that includes minors or a minor in a pre-approved exercise program. Anyone under 17 must be accompanied by a designated adult.
Do you have to sign a contract to join?
There are no contracts. Paid in Full Memberships are non-refundable.
What hours are you staffed?
We try to make meeting with a trainer or staff member a piece of cake. If you want to meet with a member of the BODYWORKS team, visit our facilities during these hours:
Beckley: Monday through Thursday: 8:30 am – 6:30 pm, Friday: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
Pineville: Monday through Thursday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
If you want to meet with one of our Health & Fitness representatives on a weekend, please call ahead of time to arrange an appointment. Please note that staffed hours are subject to change based on BODYWORKS’ discretion.
What security precautions has BODYWORKS taken?
Because we want you to be able to work out when YOU want to, we’re open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. To make sure you feel safe and secure, we have installed video surveillance equipment and members are provided with an emergency pendant, which they can use to alert 911 in the event of a problem.
Do you have day care?
We are unable to provide childcare services at this time.
